This Winter, follow these easy steps to take better care of your car’s engine

We all know how rain, wind,and other foul weather can damage and dirty our engine parts. Lustrous Effects gives you tips on how to maintain and keep your engine bay clean and looking great at all times.

Steps to follow

1. Remove dust,sand and other particles in between gaps grooves and mountings, as this can create contamination build up. This can be done by using an Air Hose \ a small to medium paint brush, by simply brushing away excessive dust and sand particles.

2. After step 1 has been completed, degrease the engine bay starting from the cleanest part to dirtiest and bottom edges. This can be done using A multi purpose cleaner \degreaser or engine cleaner.

Remember!!! do not expose the engine electrical wires with excessive water.

3. Once engine bay has been degreased, wipe down the bay using any of our great lubrication Shampoos, using only 60ml of product to 1 litre water with A Leather Chamois/Microfiber Cloth.

4. When step 3 is completed, buff engine parts, pipes,bottles, mountings etc using a dry microfiber cloth removing any residues.

5. Lubrication to all rubber, plastic, mountings, vinyl, pipes and hoses using our premium Dash&Trim Creamy by Lustrous Effects PTY LTD.
